Hair care Tips for Braids

What can braids do for you...Hair braiding with some "Color Flair"

Hair braiding is one way to style African hair. While it may be time-consuming to do the initial braiding, this attractive style is durable and can last as long as 3 months, depending on the size...

Goddess Braids      Can my hair grow if I have braids/extensions?                                         Yes.  Your hair will continue to grow no matter what style of braids or extensions you choose provided there are no health concerns.

Braid extensions can possibly grow your hair beautifully if not put in too tight, too heavy, and kept moisturized and strengthened.  The hair extensions protects, but also absorb an amount of your hair's natural moisture. We'll show you how to keep your hair in good condition, even in braid extensions.

Crocheted Braids Your hair must be in good condition before applying extended hair especially if wearing for 2 months at a time.  A great way to grow African-American hair is to put it into braids. Braiding the hair doesn't mean that maintenance is not needed. Once your hair is braided, it is important to wash the braids at least every 2 to 3 weeks. Failing to do so could result in damage to the hair.

What types of braids can you do? Our services include cornrows, individual braids, two stranded twists (natural hair and with added extension hair), natural hair twists, dreadlocks (new and maintenance), sew-in weaves.

Box Braids, Plaits, Singles Hair Recommended: 100% Kanekalon Fiber hair or Human hair. Human hair retains more moisture, however you can't do the ends of the braid techniques. Kanekalon hair looks the absolute best for Braid Extensions. 100% synthetic hair does not hold well. Hair Colors below.
