A hair wrapper is a person who is licensed to wrap manufactured materials around a strand or strands of human hair, for compensation, without cutting, coloring, permanent waving, relaxing, removing, weaving, chemically treating, braiding, using hair extensions, or performing any other service defined as cosmetology.
Workshop Objective: To prepare students to meet the State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation mandated requirements to become a licensed Hair Wrapper within prerequisite required 6 CLOCK HOURS:
Scalp Diseases and Disorders of the Scalp
Must be at least 16 years old to take the course
If you haven’t seen a hair wrap before, they are sections of color fabric, strand of floss or yarn wrapped around a few strands of your hair and finished off with beads at the end.
It's fun and fashionable adds color and style to individual hair sections , braids or twists.
We require a $75.00 non-refundable deposit to register for this course. The balance of the course fee is due no later than 2 (Two) days prior to the scheduled class date. If you for any reason need to reschedule this class, arrangement must be made within 24 (Twenty -Four) hours of scheduled class in order to receive a credit; otherwise, your deposit will be forfeited. *Investment(s) includes workshop, registration, application processing and student's certificate of completion. Classes are held in Arlington.
Credits can not be traded for cash and are good for one year only. Registrations are non- transferable and cannot be confirmed until we have received a non- refundable deposit.
