Like so many people in our community business owner, entrepreneur, GA LA – CAR is a supporter for Lupus Awareness.  Lupus is an auto immune disease that has a wide spectrum of effects.   Lupus can impede beauty because it can cause hair loss and skin rashes “flare ups”.  Lupus can cause allergic reactions to a lot of medications, hair thinning and skin rashes “flare ups”.  Here is a picture of a rash flare-up.

Makeup cannot be worn during a facial “flare ups”.  Self image and to feel beautiful are so important to women.   Women of all ages, from teens to older adults can be diagnosed with this disease.  GA LA - CAR said:  “Her business will be the One Stop That Suits the Ladies of Lupus Style whether there’s a flare up or not”.

The objective of these beauty makeovers is to boost ladies of lupus appearance, self-image, grab attention and bring the subject of Lupus awareness to the focus within our community as a whole.

We invite you to join us in our efforts.  By working together, our joint efforts can promote lupus health care awareness, access and continue to increase health equity. Ten percent of Cosmetic purchases will be given to support Lupus Awareness.
