The Ladies of Lupus free hair extension services was held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at GA LA CAR Boutique Salon 10am to 2pm. Hair weaving extension services was applied by GA LA CAR styling team and the hair extensions was provided by Y and Y Beauty Supply. Required Consultations was be held on Thursday, May 29 and Friday 30, 2014 between the hours of 5pm to 7pm. The option to bring your own hair of choice was available or may be required.

The 2nd Annual Lupus Awareness Event GA LA CAR hosted a Ladies of Lupus Luncheon at Frank H. Peterson Academies of Technology. Attendees of this event received a FREE manicure with their lunch. The Ladies of Lupus Luncheon was be held on May 22, 2013 in the Restaurant and the manicures may be obtained in the Salon. Manicures were obtained between hours of 8:30am – 9:30am and 10: 00am - 11:00am. Full course lunch consists of a choice of chicken styles, 2 entrées and more. It was served 11:00am -2:00pm. A percentage of the luncheon and Ladies of Lupus t-shirts orders will be donated to Lupus Foundation of America Southeast Florida Chapter. Lunch will be $8.50 in advance. 1st Annual Lupus Awareness Event: Lupus Gets a Makeover Event. GA LA – CAR gave away FREE Beauty Made Simple for a Simply Beautiful You Cosmetics Makeovers to the first 25 Ladies of Lupus to attend on the May 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20, 2012 between the hours of 11:00am to 4:00pm. In support of Lupus Awareness there was live Jazz and R & B music at 2:30pm, featuring Ray Doucette & Friends Band.
